The Government of Alberta has announced that effective May 12, some court fees will increase.
The following Court of Appeal fees are affected:
- Fee for Applications in the course of an Appeal: $50 to $100*
- Fee to inspect a file: $10 to $25
- Fee to search a name, including inspecting one file: $10 to $25
* Excludes Applications to Restore an Appeal.
All other fees remain the same. Click for a complete list of Court of Appeal fees.
Fees on the Court of Appeal website will be updated after close of business on Friday, May 9.
