Pincher Creek Court Relocation (Effective February 18, 2025)

Please be advised that the Pincher Creek Courthouse will be closed for maintenance work as of Tuesday, February 18, 2025, until completion.  All court matters scheduled to be heard at the Pincher Creek Courthouse will be relocated to the Fort Macleod Courthouse.

During this relocation period, Pincher Creek court matters will be heard at:

  • If your matter is scheduled for trial, you must appear at the Fort Macleod Courthouse for your trial.
  • If you have a scheduled docket court appearance and are not able to attend court in person on your scheduled court date, please call the Fort Macleod Court Office on the date of your scheduled appearance (before 10:00 a.m.) at 403-553-5003.
  • Remote appearances will be available for counsel and self-represented individuals.  The webex link is as follows: https://albertacourts.webex.com/meet/virtual.courtroomFTMA01PC@just.gov.ab.ca 
  • Duty Counsel will be available at the Fort Macleod Courthouse to speak to on your court date for criminal docket appearances.

Please action one of the options on or before your first appearance date by 1:00 p.m.

Your online options are:

  • Pay your ticket;
  • Plead guilty and request time to pay;
  • Plead not guilty and have a trial date set for you; or
  • Dispute your ticket and ask for a possible resolution.

Please note that if you have a Part 2 Ticket (Summons) for mandatory court, you are required to appear at the Fort Macleod Courthouse on the date of your appearance or you may plead not guilty via the following options:

  • Sign in the plead not guilty area of the ticket and mail it in;
  • Sign in the plead not guilty area of the ticket and drop it off at the Fort Macleod or Lethbridge Courthouse; or
  • Plead not guilty by submitting an email to: traffic.lethbridge@just.gov.ab.ca
