New Assistant Chief Judge Appointed in the Central Region
Chief Judge Derek Redman of the Provincial Court of Alberta is pleased to announce the appointment of Judge Robin Snider to the role of Assistant Chief Judge, Central Region.
A graduate of University of King's College and Dalhousie Law School, Snider was called to the bar in Nova Scotia in 2003. Upon graduation, she worked as a staff lawyer for legal aid in Amherst Nova Scotia, before joining the boutique family law firm Sealy Cornish in Dartmouth.
Since moving to Alberta in 2006, Snider worked for the Crown offices in St. Paul and in Red Deer before returning to private practice as a partner with the Red Deer Law Group in 2016. Judge Snider was appointed to the Provincial Court of Alberta in 2020.
The Court is proud to congratulate Assistant Chief Judge Snider as she assumes her new role.
