Effective June 12, 2026, the King’s Bench Filing Digital Service – Civil and Chambers (FDS) will expand to include Digital Orders for Chambers Applications.
This expansion will allow lawyers to submit a proposed Digital Order for Chambers hearings instead of uploading a PDF. This expansion will be for both Justice Chambers and Applications Judge Chambers.
Further to the release of Applications Judge Chambers on April 22, 2026:
The submission process for restoring your matter to the list for both Justice and Applications Judge Chambers should proceed through FDS. The restore letter acts as the application, but a proposed order is still required to be submitted. Previously filed material should be added as a supporting document.
Ex parte Applications seeking to schedule a hearing date must continue to be filed in the same manner as a standard morning Chambers Application.
