Court and Justice Services
Court and Justice Services (CJS) is a group of programs and services offered by the Government of Alberta, Justice and Solicitor General in collaboration with the courts of Alberta. CJS provides administrative support to all the Courts within the Province.

SafeRoads Alberta
SafeRoads Alberta is a program for drivers who wish to dispute a Notice of Administrative Penalty. Drivers may seek judicial review of decisions rendered by SafeRoads Alberta by filing an application with the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta, in accordance with section 24(2) of the Provincial Administrative Penalties Act.

Representing yourself in Court – CJC Guides for Self-Represented Litigants
The Canadian Judicial Council has prepared a number of handbooks for self-represented litigants – people who appear in Court without being represented by a lawyer. These handbooks can provide advice on how to prepare for a hearing, explanations of Courtroom process and procedure, and links to relevant resources, such as organizations that can offer affordable legal assistance.

This program is for parties in Calgary who want to resolve a child support dispute before going to court. Further information on this program can be found here.

Court forms information coordinators are available to assist with locating court forms and providing information on when to use them and how to fill them out.
