The King's Bench Family and Divorce Filing Digital Service is now available in the Judicial Centres of Calgary, Edmonton, Red Deer, and Lethbridge.
The Family and Divorce Filing Digital Service allows lawyers and legal assistants to file desk divorce application packages with and without children, Statements of Claim for Divorce, and Pleadings. This service is available to lawyers/legal assistants only. This announcement does not apply to filings made by self-represented litigants.
If you are new to this service, you must first create an account. If you already have an account to any of the Kings Bench Filing Digital Services, please proceed to log in with your existing credentials. Instructions for the creation of an account, accepted document types, an overview of King’s Bench Family and Divorce Filing Digital Service, and an additional guide for lawyers and legal assistants are available at the following link: https://qb-filing-family.alberta.ca/.
Please note that the King’s Bench Family and Divorce Filing Digital Service cannot accommodate filings for which payment is waived or from entities that do not currently pay a fee (i.e., fee waiver or Legal Aid Certificate, filings by Alberta Justice), and therefore these filings will continue to be accepted by email.
