Early Closure of Court Counters - All Locations
Effective January 20, 2017, Resolution and Court Administration Services expanded its early closure of court counters from Calgary and Grand Prairie to all Court of Queen’s Bench locations, ending public service intake, including the filing of materials at court counters, at 4:00 p.m. instead of 4:30 p.m. Consequently, the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta has amended Family Practice Note 2 and Civil Practice Note 2 to change the filing deadlines for materials under those Practice Notes from 4:30 to 4:00 p.m.
